Privacy statement

In plain language: which data this site processes, why, and what your rights are.

De Horecamentor, based in Jan Beierenstraat 123A, Hilversum and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 00000000, is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this statement. Questions? Email info@dehorecamentor.nl.

Which data we process

  • Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (if you fill it in), the stage you're at and the content of your question.
  • Checklist request: your email address.
  • Email and phone: whatever you share yourself when you get in touch.

This site uses no tracking or advertising cookies and doesn't follow you across other websites. That's also why you see no cookie banner: it isn't needed.

What we use it for

  • To answer your request and schedule the introduction meeting (legal basis: performance of, or the run-up to, a contract).
  • To send you the checklist and an occasional substantive email if you signed up for it (legal basis: consent, unsubscribe with every email).
  • To meet legal obligations, such as record-keeping for an assignment.

How long we keep it

  • Requests that don't lead to an assignment: at most one year after the last contact.
  • Sign-ups for the checklist and emails: until you unsubscribe.
  • Data belonging to an assignment: seven years, because of the Dutch tax retention obligation.

Who we share it with

Your data is not sold and not shared for other parties' marketing. We do use processors to keep the site and the email working, such as the hosting provider and the service that processes the forms. Data processing agreements have been made with these parties, or that service's standard terms apply.

Your rights

You may access your data, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw your consent. Email info@dehorecamentor.nl to do so; you'll get an answer within a month. If you feel your data isn't being handled properly, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Changes

This statement may be updated if the site or the services change. The current version is always on this page.
